The HC-06 Bluetooth module is a high-performance, cost-effective solution for short-range wireless data transfer. It operates as a Slave device, meaning it can be discovered and connected to by "Master" devices like smartphones, laptops, or tablets. It uses the SPP (Serial Port Profile), which allows it to act as a wireless serial bridge—whatever data you send to the RX pin comes out on the connected Bluetooth device, and vice versa. It is widely used in remote-controlled robots, wireless home automation, and sensor data logging.
